Boot Camp package

Your Boot Camp package includes access to all 15 sessions of Boot Camp plus if you are not already a member, a complimentary five week Full Centre Membership to Aquamoves which allows you access to group fitness classes, gymnasium, fitness assessments, cardio equipment, indoor and outdoor pools (seasonal), spas, sauna and hydrotherapy pool.

Change of venue

The activities and venues are subject to change and your Boot Camp Officer will notify you of these.

Health warning

Aquamoves recommends all participants who intend to take part in Boot Camp and have never exercised or are not accustomed to vigorous exercise to seek medical advice from your doctor before commencing Boot Camp.

Do I need to be fit to do Boot Camp?

Boot Camp helps improve your physical fitness and general wellbeing. Participants are grouped according to their fitness levels and all levels of fitness are catered for including beginners.

What sort of results will I get from doing Boot Camp?

You can expect to see improved aerobic fitness, muscle tone, strength, endurance, agility, reduction in body fat, self confidence and mental alertness. However participants need to remember that results are based on the amount of effort you put into the program.

What is different about Boot Camp?

  • Aquamoves will run every Boot Camp session despite weather conditions, in other words rain, hail or shine.
  • You will see results very quickly, approximately after the first two weeks.
  • It challenges you physically, mentally and emotionally.
  • Your Boot Camp experience will provide variety, constant challenges and a great sense of achievement.
  • Most Boot Camp sessions are held outdoors.
  • You are taking your training regime to another level.

Do I need to attend every session?

Yes, every session is compulsory. However we understand urgent matters may result in a missed session. Please inform the Boot Camp Officer of your absence where possible.

What is the recommended footwear, clothing and equipment?

All participants must wear suitable footwear for running and cross training and ensure they attend each session with a drink bottle and towel. You should be dressed in appropriate sports gear and bring your bathers. Sunscreen is also recommended and this will be supplied.

What qualifications do the instructors have?

Instructors have been recruited from a range of fitness backgrounds to provide a varied and comprehensive program. A First Aid and CPR certified officer will attend every session.

Do I need to be a member of Aquamoves?

No. Everyone is welcome to join Boot Camp. You will also receive five weeks free Full Centre Membership to Aquamoves. Members and previous Boot Camp participants are entitled to a discounted rate.
